On August 26, Shavarsh Hovhannes Akinyan, a soldier of the Nth military unit of the RA Defense Ministry, died as a result of an electric shock.
After the incident, the serviceman was transferred to the medical centre of Kapan, where his biological death was recorded at 18:55.
Regarding the incident, a criminal proceeding was initiated in the ninth garrison investigation department of the RA Criminal Investigation Department under Article 550, Part 2, Clause 2 of the RA Criminal Code.
