On August 11, Granik Vardan Khnkoyan, a soldier of the Nth military unit of the RA Defense Ministry, was fatally wounded.
As a result of the large-scale investigative and other operational activities undertaken in the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings initiated under the features of Article 523, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code, factual data was obtained that the deputy commander-chief of staff of the rifle battalion of the Nth military unit, Major A.T. committed actions aimed at humiliating the honor and dignity of the serviceman by using violence against him in the presence of his fellow soldiers.
