A Soldier’s Story
From the beginning of 2013 to the end of October 2013, there have been twenty-eight fatalities in the Armenian Army. Only four of these fatalities happened due to ceasefire violations. Four were the result of health problems. Seven resulted from fatal accidents. Six were murders. Seven were suicides. Based on observations done by Peace Dialogue through this project, according to the official statistics, the most common reasons for fatalities in the Army are fatal accidents, murders and suicides.
