On September 8, 2010, at approximately 9:30 am in the military unit of Vayk of the RA Defense Army 27-year-old temporary soldier Arthur Hakobyan committed suicide. A criminal case was initiated under Article 110, Part 1 (causing somebody to commit suicide) in the 8th Garrison Investigation Department of the RA Ministry of Defense. A forensic medical examination was assigned. Hakobyan worked in the unit since 2008 and was a storekeeper in the same unit for about two years.  He was a resident of Vayk. He was married and had one child.
